As per usual, CAYR’s annual A Taste for Life fundraising event needs support, your support. The need for care and donations is so very vital. Folks who seek support and services through CAYR already face some serious barriers – they are some of the most vulnerable and marginalized in the Region – specific streams within our programming operate around people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS, people living with and at risk of Hepatitis C (HCV), people who identify as 2SLGBTQ+, and harm reduction practices for those who use drugs or suffer from addiction.

Please consider visiting our campaign page to donate now. All donations will be matched.

Be a part of our mission in providing access to dignified support and helping folks meaningfully engage in self-determined pathways to well-being.

A donation or sponsorship can help establish food security, access to needed heath care, find shelter. Clothing, safety, transportation. Help us give those in need “a taste for life”. Every little bit counts and makes a difference.

While over the years we have seen a drop in donations, we have fought hard to stay afloat and provide basic “quality of life” needs. We have seen an increase in the number of people seeking our services and support, and the demand is continuing to grow.

So, throughout the month of April, I urge you to please consider making a financial donation to support our organization and this campaign during these difficult times.

At CAYR, we have chosen to take a stand in persevering to assist our service users, even in the face of adversity and a lack of resources. The question now is will you take a stand with us.
