CAYR has a volunteer Board of Directors elected by its membership. The Board is comprised of diverse, committed and enthusiastic individuals, from all backgrounds including people living with HIV, those who have family members living with HIV, and individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ They also bring skills such as board governance, HR, risk management and financial management to help steward the agency.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic new Board members who have a high degree of personal commitment to our cause. Successful candidates must be able to serve a two-year term and should have the energy to devote up to 5 hours per month involving:

  • Attending monthly board meetings (virtually)
  • Participating on a board committee and/or project work
  • Attending educational sessions (virtually) on an ad hoc basis
  • Attending annual events such as the AGM and strategic planning session
