Spreading the #RedforChange Awareness

It is past the midway mark of November, where does the time go? Though it is a busy time of year for everyone before the year comes to a close and weather becomes challenging!

World AIDS Day is just around the corner, December 1st. We are hosting an event that evening. It is in Richmond Hill from 6-8pm, inquire at with me at [email protected] if interested in attending.

Leading up to and including World AIDS Day, is an awareness campaign we run annually. #RedforChange. A social media campaign, showcasing photos in red, donning the red ribbon, or creating a display, promoting support and creating awareness. Trying to end the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.

Creating awareness campaigns and promoting them, isn’t the tricky part. The tricky part, the lots of work part, is having that awareness and understanding, stick. From the video above, you can see we’re doing pretty good. But awareness and creating or promoting it, or keeping it alive, never really stops.

We thank our volunteers, friends, family and partner agencies. Community is what it is all about. It doesn’t just matter what I say or do, it takes a village, and I think we got that. We just need to continue moving forward and growing! Working together is when we make the difference.
